District Heights is a small Prince George's County city just 12 miles southeast of D.C., home to about 5,900 residents in the Beltway corridor. Take I-495 to Exit 7A, then south on Pennsylvania Avenue, or use local routes like Marlboro Pike. It's conveniently located near Joint Base Andrews and three airports. The city incorporated in 1997, making it one of Maryland's newest municipalities.
