Dillon is a small mountain town in southwestern Montana that sits along Interstate 15 between Butte and the Idaho border. The University of Montana Western calls this place home, and it serves as a hub for ranching and outdoor recreation in the Beaverhead Valley. Highway 41 connects east to fishing areas along the Ruby River, while Highway 278 heads west into Idaho. The town's famous 80-foot neon cowboy sign has been greeting I-15 travelers since 1962.
