Dike is a small farming town in north-central Iowa, about 15 miles southwest of Waterloo via Highway 3. The area features typical prairie landscape with corn and soybean fields under Iowa's continental climate. Most visitors drive Highway 3 from Waterloo or connect via Highway 57 from Cedar Falls. The Waterloo Regional Airport sits 20 miles northeast. The town's original 1883 railroad depot still stands as a community center and museum.
