Dickeyville is a small Wisconsin farming town of 878 people near the Iowa border, about 12 miles from Dubuque. US Highway 61 runs right through town, connecting north to Prairie du Chien and south to Iowa. Most visitors come via US 151 from Madison or US 18 from the north. The big draw is the Dickeyville Grotto, an incredible folk art shrine made from stones, shells, and glass that covers the Catholic church grounds.
