Dexter is a small city of about 1,000 people in central Georgia, 15 miles southeast of Dublin via US Highway 441. The main route brings visitors south from Dublin in 20 minutes, while Interstate 16 provides east-west access about 10 miles north. The W H 'Bud' Barron Airport nearby features one of central Georgia's few remaining grass airstrips for vintage aircraft enthusiasts.
