Depew is a small Erie County city just east of Buffalo, positioned perfectly near Buffalo Niagara International Airport and major highways. I-90 provides easy access via Exit 52, while Route 78 (Transit Road) runs north-south through town. Most visitors either connect to the nearby airport or use Depew as a convenient stop along the New York State Thruway corridor. The city was founded in 1892 as a railroad town and named after a New York Central Railroad president.
