This small Iowa farming community sits about 20 miles southwest of Waterloo, connected by Highway 3 and rural routes through rolling agricultural land. Most visitors arrive via Highway 63 from Waterloo or Cedar Falls, then follow local roads into town. The historic downtown features several early 1900s buildings, including the old Denver Opera House that once welcomed traveling performers to the prairie.
