Denver City is a small oil town in far west Texas, about an hour southwest of Lubbock via US 380. Highway 214 connects it to Brownfield and Andrews, while Highway 83 links south to Big Spring. The restored 1940s movie theater downtown still shows weekend films with its original art deco marquee.
