Denton is a small Davidson County town of about 1,500 people, located 25 miles south of Winston-Salem and 30 miles north of Charlotte via US Highway 52. The town sits in North Carolina's Piedmont region with rolling hills and mild four-season weather. Most visitors arrive via US 52 from I-85 near Lexington, while local traffic uses State Route 8 for east-west connections to Thomasville. Charlotte's airport is about 45 minutes southeast. Denton hosts one of the Southeast's largest antique engine shows each Labor Day at the famous FarmPark.
