Denton is Caroline County's seat in Maryland's Eastern Shore farm country. US 404 runs right through downtown, making it an easy stop between the Bay Bridge and Delaware beaches. Route 313 connects north-south to other county towns. The 1897 courthouse downtown has a working clock tower that's been keeping time for the community for over 125 years.
