Delphos is a small Kansas town of 320 people on US Highway 81 between Salina and Concordia. Most visitors pass through on the north-south route connecting these regional centers about 30 miles apart. The area features typical Great Plains farmland with rolling wheat fields. The town's historic grain elevator from the early 1900s stands as a prominent landmark visible for miles across the prairie.
