Delight is a small Pike County town of 312 people in southwestern Arkansas's hill country. Take Highway 84 west from I-30 near Arkadelphia to get there, about 25 miles through scenic timber forests. The town sits along a route that continues to Oklahoma, making it a quiet stop for cross-state travelers. Delight got its cheerful name from early settlers who were genuinely "delighted" with the area when they arrived in the 1800s.
