Delevan is a small farming community in western New York's Cattaraugus County, about an hour southeast of Buffalo via State Route 16. The village sits among rolling hills where dairy farms meet wooded ridges. Route 16 runs right through town, connecting north to the Buffalo suburbs and south to Olean, while Route 98 provides east-west access through nearby Machias. The restored 1912 railroad depot now serves as the community center.
