Deerfield is a small farming community in southeastern Michigan, about 60 miles southwest of Detroit via US-23 and US-223. The town of 860 sits along US-223, which connects it to Adrian and the Ohio border. Rural roads link it to nearby Blissfield and Tecumseh for local trips. The historic one-room schoolhouse from 1876 remains the town's most notable landmark.
