Deer Park is a tiny St. Croix County village of about 200 people, sitting 45 miles northeast of Minneapolis. Take I-94 west to Highway 35 north through New Richmond, then follow county roads. It's classic Wisconsin farm country with rolling hills and old dairy barns. The original creamery building still stands downtown, a reminder of when local farms shipped their milk here for processing.
