This lakefront community sits on a peninsula extending into Minnesota's second-largest lake, creating miles of scenic shoreline. Most visitors arrive from nearby suburbs using County Road 15 or Highway 7, with Flying Cloud Airport nearby for private aircraft. The city maintains one of Lake Minnetonka's few remaining public beaches, featuring a historic 1928 bathhouse.
