Decatur is a small Tennessee River town in southeastern Tennessee, accessible via State Route 58 from Interstate 75 (about 30 miles east). The main routes include I-75 to US-11 west from Knoxville (45 miles) or US-27 north from Chattanooga to SR-58 (50 miles). The town's claim to fame is the historic Decatur Ferry, a cable-guided river crossing that's been operating since the 1930s.
