Decatur is the Adams County seat in northeast Indiana, about 25 miles southeast of Fort Wayne via US Route 27. The main approach is I-469 to Exit 21, then straight south on US 27 through downtown. State roads 124, 101, and 116 connect to nearby communities like Berne and Bluffton. The restored 1930s Foundry Cinema downtown still shows movies and hosts community events.
