Dayton is a small farming town in Virginia's Shenandoah Valley, home to about 1,920 residents. Take I-81 to Exit 245, then Route 42 south for two miles to reach the town center. It's a 15-minute drive north to Harrisonburg via Route 42, making it popular with commuters. The town's claim to fame is the Ruritanian Museum, dedicated to the fictional kingdom from "The Prisoner of Zenda."
