Davisboro is a small Georgia town of about 2,200 people located 45 miles southeast of Macon via State Route 24. The town sits in rolling Piedmont countryside dotted with pine forests and farms. Most visitors arrive on SR-24 from Macon or Sandersville, while I-16 runs 20 miles south for longer trips. The restored 1904 railroad depot now houses the historical society.
