Dasher is a small south Georgia community of under 1,000 people, reached via State Route 94 about 8 miles west of Valdosta off Interstate 75 Exit 16. Valdosta Regional Airport is 15 miles northeast. The town sits in rolling Coastal Plain countryside with hot, humid summers and mild winters. Several working farms still operate within the community, maintaining its agricultural heritage.
