Darlington is the county seat in northeastern South Carolina, about 10 miles west of Florence on US 52. Most visitors drive from Florence Regional Airport or connect from I-95 via Route 34. The town sits at the intersection of US 52 and US 401, surrounded by tobacco farms and pine forests. It's home to Darlington Raceway, the famous NASCAR track known as "The Track Too Tough to Tame."
