Dansville is a farming community of 600 people in south-central Michigan, about 20 miles from Lansing via I-96 and Highway 36. Most visitors are locals commuting to the capital or travelers crossing the state on scenic back roads through corn country. The original 1800s downtown still centers on a two-block Main Street along Highway 36.
