Dannebrog is a small farming town of 235 people in central Nebraska, about 20 miles northwest of Grand Island on Highway 281. The area was settled by Danish immigrants in 1887, and the town takes its name directly from the Danish flag. Most visitors arrive via Highway 281 from Grand Island, passing through classic Nebraska farmland.
