Dandridge is a small lakeside town 30 miles northeast of Knoxville, accessible via I-40 Exit 417. Founded in 1793, it's Tennessee's second-oldest town and sits on Douglas Lake's shores. The area offers mild winters and humid summers, perfect for lake activities. Highway connections include Route 25E to Morristown and Highway 92 to Jefferson City. The 1845 limestone courthouse still operates as Jefferson County's government seat after nearly 180 years.
