Dalton is a farming community of 17 people in north-central Missouri's Chariton County. Reach it via Highway 24 and rural county roads, about 15 miles northeast of Brunswick. The town sits amid corn and soybean fields in Missouri's agricultural heartland. Despite its tiny size, Dalton still operates its own post office.
