Dale is a small Pennsylvania borough in Cambria County's rolling hills, about 20 minutes from Johnstown. Most visitors arrive via Interstate 99 or US Route 22, with the John Murtha Johnstown Airport 15 miles northeast providing regional air service. The area experiences typical Appalachian weather with snowy winters and humid summers. Dale's volunteer fire department still operates from its original 1952 brick firehouse.
