Dade City is Pasco County's seat, located 35 miles northeast of Tampa via I-75 and SR 52. US 301 runs north-south through town toward Ocala, while SR 52 heads east-west to Zephyrhills and the Green Swamp area. The city sits among rolling hills and former citrus groves in Florida's Ridge region. Each January, it hosts the Kumquat Festival celebrating its heritage as the former "Kumquat Capital of the World."
