Curtiss is a small farming community in central Wisconsin's Clark County, surrounded by dairy farms and timber stands. Most visitors drive in from Wausau via Highway 29 west to Highway 13 north, about 45 minutes through rolling agricultural country. Taylor County Airport sits just outside town, serving general aviation and crop dusters. The community was named after aviation pioneer Glenn Curtiss, honoring its longstanding ties to flight.
