Cullom is a small farming town of 471 people in east-central Illinois, about 90 miles south of Chicago. Take I-55 to Exit 250 at Dwight, then head east on Route 17 for 12 miles. The town sits among endless corn and soybean fields in Livingston County. Its restored 1907 wooden grain elevator still dominates the skyline.
