Cullen is a small Louisiana town of about 760 people in Webster Parish, connected to the wider region by Highway 371 south to I-20. Most visitors arrive via I-20 from Shreveport (25 miles west) or Monroe (45 miles east), then take the short drive north on 371. The town sits near Lake Bistineau, a distinctive cypress-lined lake originally formed by a massive natural log jam.
