Crystal Falls is Iron County's seat in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, home to 1,700 people along the Paint River. US-2 provides the main east-west route, connecting to Escanaba (45 miles east) and Iron Mountain (25 miles west), while Highway 69 runs north-south. The town's namesake waterfalls tumble right through downtown, visible from the US-2 bridge.
