Crystal City is a Mississippi River town about 30 miles south of St. Louis, reached via Highway 61 from I-55. This Jefferson County community of nearly 5,000 sits between limestone bluffs and the river in an area prone to occasional spring flooding. The massive Anheuser-Busch brewery complex dominates the southern end of town.
