Crossville is a small farming town in southeastern Illinois, sitting along State Route 1 in White County. Most visitors reach it via Route 1, connecting to Interstate 64 about 30 miles south or US Route 50 to the north. The town sits between the Little Wabash and Skillet Fork rivers in flat agricultural country. Crossville got its name from being located at the crossroads of two historic Native American trails.
