Crosby is a small central Minnesota town of 2,200 people, located 15 miles north of Brainerd on Highway 6. Most visitors arrive via Highway 371 from the Twin Cities, then take Highway 6 north through lake country terrain. The town sits in a region of rolling hills and numerous lakes, with the Brainerd Lakes Regional Airport about 20 miles south for air travelers. Downtown's historic State Theatre still shows movies on its original 1946 screen.
