Crofton is a small Nebraska town of about 900 people in Knox County, roughly 20 miles from Yankton, South Dakota. Highway 12 runs right through town and connects to US-81 from Norfolk to the south. It's a quiet farming community in the Missouri River bluffs with a distinctive grain elevator that you can spot from miles away.
