Crockett is a small East Texas city surrounded by pine forests, about two hours from both Houston and Dallas. US Highway 287 runs right through downtown, connecting to Palestine and Lufkin, while State Highway 7 provides east-west access. The town centers around the courthouse square, where you'll find a massive 1,000-pound replica of the Liberty Bell.
