Crocker is a small Missouri town of about 1,000 people located 25 miles northeast of Fort Leonard Wood via Highway 17. The main route connects south to Interstate 44 near Waynesville, with Rolla 30 miles northeast and Springfield 45 miles southwest. The town sits in Ozark foothills along the Big Piney River valley, surrounded by rolling hills and forest. Its 1905 one-room schoolhouse still stands as a local landmark.
