Crestview earned its "Hub City" nickname from sitting at the crossroads of I-85 and Highway 90 in northwest Florida's hill country. It's about 35 miles from Pensacola and serves as a gateway to the Emerald Coast beaches via SR 85 south. The Blackwater River here runs so clear you can see the sandy bottom even in deep pools.
