Creston is a small farming town in central Nebraska, about 25 miles southwest of Columbus and 85 miles northwest of Lincoln. US Highway 30 and State Highway 22 are the main routes through the area, connecting to Columbus, Grand Island, and other regional towns. The grain elevator towers above the surrounding corn and soybean fields, serving as a landmark visible for miles across the flat prairie.
