Creston is a farming town of 550 people in northern Illinois, about 90 miles northwest of Chicago. Take I-90 west to Route 251 north through Rochelle, then follow county roads into town. From Rockford, use US 51 south and connect via back roads. The 1870s railroad depot still stands downtown as a community center with local history displays.
