Crescent is a small Logan County town of about 1,500 people, located 40 miles north of Oklahoma City via US Highway 77. Most visitors drive up I-35 to Guthrie, then take US 77 north for a quick 15-minute hop. The town sits on rolling prairie where the Cimarron River meanders through, and its 1918 red brick grain elevator still towers over the landscape as a distinctive landmark visible for miles.
