Creola is a small Alabama city about 20 miles north of Mobile via US Highway 43. Most visitors arrive from I-65, exiting at Highway 43 near Saraland for the final stretch. The town of 2,000 sits in rolling coastal plain terrain with hot, humid summers and mild winters. Creola developed along an old Native American trading route that connected Mobile Bay to Alabama's interior regions.
