Creedmoor is a small Travis County community of about 500 people located 20 miles southeast of Austin via Highway 183. The town sits near Austin Bergstrom International Airport along the route between Austin and Lockhart, making it a quiet stop for travelers and airport workers. The original post office operated from 1878 to 1906 in a building that also served as the general store.
