Crawford is a tiny Mississippi community of 255 people in Lowndes County's rolling pine hills. Most visitors arrive via State Route 373 from Columbus, about 15 miles east, or drive up from Meridian on US 45. Golden Triangle Regional Airport sits 20 miles northeast. The town sits near the headwaters of Luxapalila Creek, following an old Native American trading route.
