Crandall is a small city of about 5,000 people located 25 miles southeast of Dallas in Kaufman County. Take I-20 east to Exit 503, then Highway 175 south through Seagoville to FM 148. Most residents commute daily to the Dallas area via this route. The town sits on rolling East Texas prairie with hot summers and mild winters. The restored 1920s brick schoolhouse downtown now serves as the community center.
