Covington is a tiny Hill County community of 274 people, about 50 miles south of Fort Worth via I-35W and Highway 171. The rural location offers rolling prairie views and serves as a gateway to Brazos River recreation. Most visitors arrive from the Dallas-Fort Worth area, though the town also connects to Austin and Waco via I-35. Covington Park provides one of the few public boat ramps on this stretch of the Brazos River.
