Cove is a small farming town in Oregon's Grande Ronde Valley, about 15 miles southeast of La Grande via Highway 82. The route connects to Interstate 84 and serves as a gateway to the Wallowa Mountains. Most traffic consists of locals commuting to La Grande and tourists heading to Hells Canyon or Wallowa Lake. The town sits surrounded by the Blue Mountains with Cove Creek running through agricultural land. Cove Warm Springs, a natural hot spring used since pioneer times, remains the town's most notable attraction.
