Courtenay is a tiny farming town of about 30 people in central North Dakota, 15 miles southeast of Jamestown via State Highway 20. Most trips are short runs to Jamestown for services, while longer journeys connect through there to Interstate 94. The town still operates its own post office despite being one of the state's smallest communities.
