County Line is a small Alabama community of 358 people located about 35 miles northeast of Birmingham in Blount County. Drivers reach it via State Route 75, connecting from I-65 and US Highway 31 from Birmingham or US Highway 231 from Huntsville. The town sits in rolling Appalachian foothills with a rural, forested setting. Interestingly, County Line got its name from an old county boundary that no longer exists there.
